Human Family Forum

ICAN is bringing the world together under one roof, with the creation of the Human Family Forum which is currently separated into four general categories: ICAN Student, Educator, Community and Organization. All sections will include a forum, chat and matching ICAN staff maintained and section devoted blogs filled with news and information on all of our innovative programs and projects and also those of our organizational friends.

The ICAN Human Family Forum strives to bring together people all around the world in active discourse about global sustainability, international cooperative education, and charitable giving. ICAN is tuned in to the social networking available through Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, and other sources. We continuously reach out and seek new networking opportunities through emerging technology.

One of ICAN’s core aims is to support with funding and through advertisement organizations that bring internet and computer access to children in some of the world’s most impoverished places. By closing the technological divide and providing internet and computer access to children worldwide, we can help children develop lasting international friendships and build sharing partnerships. We do this through a network just for children and young adults. Within the ICAN Student discussion board, chat and blog the most important members of our organization, the youth of the world, will converge to discuss and work on concepts that seem daunting at best to their adult counterparts: universal education, global unity, world peace, and an end to widespread hunger, avoidable disease, and the negative environmental effects of extreme poverty. We support organizations that help children and young adults receive a digital age education no matter where they live.

By providing computer and internet access to the world’s most needy schools we help link teachers together in sharing partnerships never available before. Now a teacher in Africa can talk with a Teacher in Europe or the Americas, a teacher in training can talk to a seasoned educator, and any teacher can develop international cooperative education curriculum with any in the growing list of members on our ICAN Educator discussion board, chat, and blog.

By ICAN helping connect students and teachers worldwide we also bring the families of students and surrounding communities into the ranks of our peaceful revolution.
